Emmerdale viewers refuse to believe Moira Dingle's mum is dead, convinced the Scottish matriarch will appear in the Yorkshire dales in scenes to come.
On Tuesday's episode, Mackenzie Boyd and his sister headed to a tree on the farm, planting some flowers down in memory of their mother Anne Boyd.
Moira was emotional over the gesture, insisting their mother would be pleased to see them working on something together despite their major fallout.
Faith Dingle is the only one who has been suspicious about his intentions, figuring out he got the date of his mother Anne's funeral wrong.
When she confronted him over the lie, he pleaded: "Moira and I have just been doing a memorial for our mother its the closest we’ve felt for years.
"It all got a bit emotional from you so she just needs a bit of time."
Cain Dingle smelled a rat and started interrogating Mack about the dodgy funeral dates, suddenly doubting his motives in appearing in the village.
He wasn't the only one with suspicions – over on Twitter, viewers shared their theories about Moira's mum, predicting Mackenzie had lied about her death to con his sister.
One wrote: "Moira your mum is alive and Mack is lying through his teeth!"
"Anyone else have the feeling that Moira’s mother is still alive," added a second.
And a third penned: "It’s obvious that Moria mum is still alive Faith is on too you Mackenzie."
