Emmerdale's Cain Dingle discovers a new Joe Tate secret that leaves him crushed

Emmerdale bad boy Cain Dingle is left feeling guiltier than ever tonight (November 30) as he finds out more about the day of Joe Tate’s death.

Cain (Jeff Hordley) has been wrestling with his conscience ever since he “fatally” punched Joe last month, unaware that Graham Foster was the one who seemingly finished off the job.

In Friday night’s Emmerdale episode, Cain grows suspicious when he witnesses his wife Moira’s latest tense showdown with Graham (Andrew Scarborough).

Back home later on, Cain pushes Moira for answers on what she’s hiding from him and is shocked when she reluctantly confesses all.

Moira (Natalie J Robb) explains how Joe wasn’t leaving the village in his final moments alive – he was actually heading back to be with Cain’s daughter Debbie.

Although Cain is sceptical, Moira lets him know about the secret voicemail that Joe left on Graham’s phone which confirmed his risky intentions.

As it dawns on Cain that he made a terrible mistake by attacking Joe, will he be able to live with the guilt?

Perhaps not, as spoilers for next week have already revealed that Cain considers confessing everything to Debbie – much to the alarm of Moira, who thinks it’s much safer to keep quiet.

Emmerdale airs tonight at 7pm on ITV.
