Emmerdale spoilers: Paddy Kirk in DANGER as Rhona Goskirk makes unforgivable move?

Emmerdale’s iconic villain Kim Tate (played by Claire King) has made no secret about her plans to dominate the village and the businesses that lie within it.

And tonight, it seems Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) could be at risk of losing the vets after Kim revealed her evil plans to use Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry).

It came after the latter visited Home Farm in an emergency when Kim burst into the vets stressing how ill her horse was.

Rushing up to the stables, Rhona conducted a thorough check up, but it wasn’t until afterwards when she collapsed in agony following her recent operation.

Noticing her condition, Kim took her inside to the offices and viewers saw the pair have a heart to heart.

But it wasn’t until Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) questioned her friendliness when Kim revealed her plan.

He commented: “Someone seems very pleased with themselves? What are you up to?” And she replied: “Why would I be up to anything? Can’t I just be friendly?”

Whilst Graham argued “no” she explained: “Well, that’s where you’re wrong. I was actually, very friendly, very supportive. And for your information I like her.

“She’s the only person I’ve met here I can stand to spend time with,” Kim continued. “She’s easy to talk to and she’s good with horses. She could be useful.”

Graham interjected: “I knew it, you’re using her.” Whilst Kim initially remarked: “No. But I want to get my hands on the vets and maybe, maybe Rhona’s a way in.”

With Rhona in a very vulnerable state at the moment, as well as fluctuating hormones affecting her mood, will she fail to see Kim’s trap?

Thus meaning Paddy, Rhona and Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) are at risk of their business being taken from right underneath their feet.

Elsewhere in Emmerdale, there is a chance Maya Stepney (Louisa Clein) is going to be charged over the grooming of Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant).

During an exclusive conversation with Zahra Awaiz-Bilal, an associate lawyer who specialises in child abuse at Bolt Burdon Kemp, she explained she legal implications the school teacher will face when she gets caught.

Zahra explained: “The Sexual Offences (Amendment) Act 2000 came into force in January 2001 and made it an offence for a person older than 18 who is in a specified ‘position of trust’ to have any sexual activity with a person under the age of 18.

“Maya will therefore be prosecuted,” she confirmed. “As Jacob’s teacher, she is in a “position of trust” and therefore she has committed an offence by engaging in a sexual activity with him.”

Despite Jacob agreeing to have a sexual relationship with Maya, Zahra clarified: “This [prosecution] applies even if the relationship is consensual.”

Meanwhile, Jai Sharma’s (Chris Bisson) storyline could be about to spice up.

It comes after the actor who plays the sweet factory owner spoke about the possibility of Jai finding new love.

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV.
