Emmerdale spoilers: Charity Dingle devastated as Sarah Sugden makes shock revelation

Recently in Emmerdale, Charity (played by Emma Atkins) has been trying to bond with granddaughter Sarah (Katie Hill) and the pair have grown close.

However in upcoming scenes, the teen begins to show a rebellious side and Charity struggles to get Sarah back on track.

Debbie (Charley Webb) decided to leave Sarah behind for a new life in Scotland but asked mum Charity to look after her on the ITV soap.

The pair have adjusted to living together well but now the abandoned teen is set to act out after spending time with new boy Danny (Louis Healy).

Charity’s girlfriend, Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) is the first person who spots the change in Sarah when she realises she’d rather hang out with the young lad than do homework.

However Charity isn’t feeling too well as she’s suffering from chicken pox and ends up berating Sarah for avoiding schoolwork in front of Danny.

The young teen is mortified and the pair end up having a massive argument.

Seeing how upset Charity is at how sour things have turned between her and Sarah, Vanessa decides to step in.

She organises a surprise for Sarah and Danny to try and show the schoolgirl that her loved ones do trust and support her.

However will her kind gesture smooth things over between Sarah and Charity or drive the young teen away?

Elsewhere, Robert Sugden’s (Ryan Hawley) exit may have been revealed after the star dropped a huge clue.

Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) and Robert are trying to spend as much time as possible together while Robert’s sentencing looms over them.

The exact details of his departure from the ITV soap have been kept under wraps.

However the Emmerdale star has revealed one of the Dingle’s may play a big role in his exit.

Speaking to Express.co.uk at the TV Choice Awards, Ryan remarked: “From now, I guess things, it’s more about Robert and Aaron getting to spend time together before the inevitable happens.

“So you know, they’re kind of trying to make the most out of the time they have left which is nice.

“Me and Danny get to work together which is great.”

But in a surprise twist, his exit may be tied up with Mandy Dingle’s (Lisa Riley) return to the Dales.

“I think I filmed my last scenes with her,” Ryan revealed.

“I can’t really tell you though. If I told you I’d give away the game.”

Emmerdale airs weekdays on ITV at 7pm.
