Emmerdale fans were left raging after Arthur Thomas' made the "worst" food blunder at the star of tonight's episode.
After the opening titles, Arthur was seen making his packed lunch or the day while his mum Laurel tried to have an emotional chat with him.
However, fans were distracted by Arthur's sandwich making skills and said it looked like the "worst" jam sandwich ever.
They flocked to Twitter, raging at the fact he put butter and jam on the same piece of bread and that he used the same knife for both condiments.
One said: "Well if you thought Arthur was a little s*** before, he just used the same knife for the butter and the jam!"
While another wrote: "Worst jam sandwich ever!!! You don't have butter with jam."
A third fumed: "Is he putting Jam and butter on that piece?"
"Why oh why is Arthur double dipping his knife from the butter to the jam!? I can’t cope" wrote a fourth.
While a fifth said: "World's worst jam sandwich attempt on Emmerdale."
Dramatic scenes this week led to Vanessa finally being freed from the evil clutches of Pierce, with the murderer finally arrested for his crimes.
