Emmmerdale fans were left cringing tonight after schoolboy Jacob Gallagher tried to SNOG his teacher Maya Stepney in bizarre scenes.
Viewers were clearly uncomfortable tonight as Jacob acted on his worrying obsession with Maya.
After getting upset at boyfriend David for buying her dead flowers for her birthday, she was left even more heartbroken when she found out that David had missed their meal because he was with Tracy.
Despite later discovering that the pair had been chatting because Tracy’s aunt had died, Jacob lashed out at David for treating Maya badly.
Later when the pair were alone as she let Jacob have a sip of champagne, he got the wrong end of the stick and ended up kissing her.
Despite Maya pushing him away in horror, viewers were horrified.
One tweeted: "This Jacob storyline is creepy, finding it hard to watch ! #Emmerdale."
