Emmerdale: Moment Dan Spencer is arrested
Cain Dingle (played by Jeff Hordley) witnessed Dan Spencer (Liam Fox) punch Amelia Spencer’s (Daisy Campbell) stalker, Lloyd (Matt Sutton) in the latest instalment of Emmerdale.
While Dan admitted he was responsible for leaving Lloyd unconscious, fans were left fearing Cain will be framed for the attack.
Emmerdale viewers flocked to Twitter, with Shaky asking: “So Cain’s going to get the blame then? #Emmerdale.”
Arty remarked: “Cain is the most loyal guy in Emmerdale, ‘I didn’t see anything.'”
@Corriedalexo added: “If Cain made the call and has now disappeared won’t he look suspicious #emmerdale.”

Olivia McGhie said: “I love that Cain will always try and protect the people he cares about – even if they may have just killed someone.”
Swalk shared with heart emojis: “Love how Cain is trying to protect Dan #Emmerdale.”
Vladimir Raul noted: “Oh dear Dan, maybe Cain knows a place to bury the body #emmerdale.”
During the episode, Dan saw red when he noticed Lloyd hugging his teenage daughter Amelia across the road.

He punched Lloyd in the face, causing the stalker to fall to the ground and hit his head on a rock.
When the police arrived at the scene, they were keen to question Dan’s boss Cain even though he had nothing to do with the incident.
Eventually, Dan confessed to being responsible for hurting Lloyd and he was arrested at the end of the episode.
However, will he try and frame Cain in a bid to avoid a prison sentence?
Lloyd had to be taken to hospital, but there is no certainty he will pull through.
Could Dan end up facing a murder charge? Perhaps Cain will flee the village if he finds out he’s about to be framed for a crime he didn’t commit.
However, there were witnesses, so Cain might be better off remaining in Emmerdale and proclaiming his innocence.
