EastEnders star looks almost unrecognisable as he transforms for Christmas panto role | The Sun

EASTENDER'S Davood Ghadhami sported a new look as he took to the stage for a festive performance.

The BBC soap actor, who is best known for playing Kush Kazemi took to Instagram to share his unreal transformation.


Davood, who also appeared on Holby City before it was cancelled earlier this year, will be starring as villain Abanazar in Aladdin at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre from December 2 until early January.

Captioning the post: "Press Night ready! 😈", Davood shared a picture of himself hooked up to a microphone and donning a glittering costume, including a purple headpiece and a meticulously groomed beard.

The post caught the attention of former Eastenders colleague and actress Emma Barton who commented: "Have a great night darl 🎭♥️".

Ex-Holby City actress Rosie Marcel shared her excitement in the comments, writing: "Can’t wait!!!!".

Former on-screen mum, Bonnie Langford, who played Kush's mother Carmel Kazemi, also shared her love, stating: "Looking great, lovely xx 😍❤️🌟".

Pulling in nearly 2000 likes, Davood's post had his followers eager to share their thoughts, with one commenting: "Love the costume! 💜Have a great night".

Another wrote: "You look amazing! Hope it went well x".

A third added: "Aww break a leg sweetheart ❤️".

The actor is no stranger to performing, especially after competing on Strictly Come Dancing in 2017.

Davood has also had previous appearances on shows like Doctor Who, Top Boy, Silent Witness, Skins and Law & Order.

He even won a Best Newcomer award at the TV Choice Awards for his role as Kush on the famous Albert Square.
