Keanu – played by Danny Walters – tries to grab a moment alone with Sharon, who he enjoyed a steamy affair with last year, but she quickly gives him a reality check and hurries off when she gets a call from husband Phil about a business meeting with Mel Owen.
Sharon is then left flustered when Phil – Steve McFadden – mentions the possibility that he might have to return to Spain, so she suggests they have lunch in The Vic.
Mel arrives and accepts Phil’s offer for her share of the club and Sharon is touched when Phil lets her take the reins.
She’s even more pleased when he tells her he’s not going to Spain after all.
Sharon then heads off to the loos, unaware that Keanu is watching her.
She’s shocked when he sneaks in behind her.
Having cornered Sharon in the ladies’, Keanu quickly says his piece, which leaves Sharon conflicted.
What does he say? And will it change her mind about ending their fling?
Earlier this month EastEnders boss Kate Oates revealed that Sharon would choose her husband over her hunky younger lover.
She told the Sun Online: “I think it’s interesting because I think that’s one of those real in the moment things, she’s convinced this is what she wants more than anything but what’s he going to do?
"Is he going to bring up Denny? He’s 19 years old.
"Do you leave Phil and pack your bags and go and sleep on Karen’s sofa?"
Sharon – played by Letitia Dean – will return to the Square this week from a two-month trip visiting Michelle Fowler in Australia.
She’ll be shocked to learn that Keanu has jumped into bed with her step-daughter Louise Mitchell.
