EastEnders’ Phil Mitchell will fly into a rage over his wife Sharon’s connection with Keanu Taylor next week.
Phil (Steve McFadden) will become consumed with anger after learning that Sharon has been keeping secrets from him regarding her son Dennis.
Fans have recently seen Keanu come to Dennis’ rescue after he was attacked by the gang – an incident that Sharon ultimately decides to keep from Phil.
Oblivious to what happened with the gang, Phil is left confused when Dennis becomes distressed after seeing some of the gang members during a day out with him.
Convinced that Sharon is hiding something, a suspicious Phil decides to question Keanu, before turning his attentions to the mechanic’s mum Karen.
Although Keanu manages to keep quiet, it’s a different story with Karen – who unwittingly lets slip some of the details and gives him Dennis’ mended jacket.
Furious, Phil storms home with Keanu in tow and angrily asks Sharon why he wasn’t told the truth. As Sharon admits she didn’t want him kicking off, Phil takes his anger out on Keanu and fires him for getting involved.
However, as the argument intensifies, Keanu infuriates Phil further by standing up for Sharon– sending him into a fit of rage.
In the aftermath of the shock confrontation, Sharon tries her best to keep up appearances for Dennis and tells Phil that they need to sort things.
But with Phil refusing to talk to her, Sharon finds herself growing even closer to Keanu as sparks continue to fly between them.
Feeling conflicted about her feelings for Keanu, Sharon turns to Linda Carter for advice – telling her friend that she’s been flirting with a mystery younger man.
Sharon is later left even more torn when Keanu invites her for a drink, but she’s given a glimmer of hope about her marriage when she sees that Phil has booked a trip to Spain.
Assuming that Phil is taking her away, Sharon prepares a Spanish-themed meal to thank him but is taken aback when Keanu turns up to talk to her.
Determined to focus on her marriage, Sharon quickly sends Keanu on his way and refocuses her attention on discussing the holiday with Phil. But is all as it seems? And how much longer can Sharon resist her growing attraction to Keanu?
