EastEnders shock romance, Corrie murder plot and 8 more spoilers

There are major moments this week in the world of soap, from the discovery of Harry Thompson (Parry Glasspool) that he could clear his name in Hollyoaks through to a sizzling and quite surprising new EastEnders affair between Max Branning (Jake Wood) and Ruby Allen (Louisa Lytton).

Perhaps less surprising is the fling between Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) and Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) in Emmerdale while over in Coronation Street, Bernie (Jane Hazlegrove) has only been in the area for a day when she is trying to jump the bones of an astonished Chesney Brown (Sam Aston).

Stacey discovers that Max is dating Ruby in EastEnders

Stacey is stunned when she finds a broken Max and he makes a shocking admission. Martin simmers with jealousy as the pair grow close again but Stacey later heads to see Max and is stunned when it’s Ruby who answers the door.

Harry begs Mercedes to tell the truth in Hollyoaks

As Breda encourages Tony to stand by Harry, even if he is guilty, Harry is shocked when he overhears that Mercedes was in the car during the accident. He implores her to tell the truth. Meanwhile, James heads for the edge as he appears to have missed his chance to win Harry back.

One to watch: Monday 22nd July at 7pm on E4.

Gary is hauled in by police in Coronation Street

Gary heads into Rick’s home and starts smearing his jacket with anti vandal paint but is soon caught in the act by Sharon. Later, Gary fears that the game is finally up when he is hauled in by the police.

Moira pulls Nate in for a kiss in Emmerdale

Cain decides that it’s time he made things up with Moira and he heads up to the farm to make an effort. But Nate is busy getting under Moira’s skin and, overcome with temptation, she pulls him in for a passionate kiss.

Keegan begs Tiffany to stay in EastEnders

Tiffany announces that she is moving to Milton Keynes and when Whitney tries to get Keegan to speak to her, his reaction just makes it clearer to her that she is doing the right thing. Later, Bernie finds a gift from Tiffany and Keegan has a change of heart, but is it too late?

Jack is in danger from Paula’s enemies in Coronation Street

Kevin makes it clear that he thinks the age gap between Sophie and Paula is too much but Sophie is defiant and insists that Paula stays with them. But while Jack is momentarily alone, an intruder barges in and starts rifling through Paula’s paperwork and he knows he is in danger…

Damon enjoys his stag night in Hollyoaks

As Damon prepares for his stag night, Levi lays a trap for Maxine by supplying her with painkillers which she immediately takes without knowing what they are. He later explains that they were mints and, caught out, Maxine flees the room, leaving her crutches behind.

Kim’s offer shocks Rishi in Emmerdale

Rishi and Manpreet are forced to admit that the factory is in serious trouble and when Rishi heads to ask Kim for a loan, he is stunned to discover her terms. He tries to haggle with her but is soon trapped into making a decision.

Bernie makes a pass at Chesney in Coronation Street

Chesney is stunned when Gemma’s mum turns up claiming to be homeless and Gemma offers up the money that has been raised for the quads. Chesney allows Bernie to stay but as he sleeps on the couch, she suggests he joins her in bed. Later, she accuses him of making a pass at her!

Karen has a big announcement in EastEnders

The Taylors are intrigued when Karen gathers them all together to make an announcement – and they can’t quite believe what she has to say. Later, her new relationship raises eyebrows in the community.
