Recent months in EastEnders have seen Mick Carter locked up in prison thanks the machinations of former friend Stuart Highway.
After a few confusing weeks that left fans frustrated, it was recently revealed that Linda has been working on a plot to free her husband by attempting to get Stuart to confess to framing him.
And now that viewers know all about Linda’s plan, it looks like it will come to a head in December, in an intense two-hander featuring both Linda (Kellie Bright) and Stuart (Ricky Champ).
The episode, set in the Queen Vic, will see Linda try and outfox Stuart to get the confession she needs, but will he see through her plan and if he does, what will he do to her?
We’re all hoping it’s the former, as Linda’s plan so far has been pushing the Carter family to breaking point. Viewers have seen her remove her wedding rings and make plans for a divorce, as well as getting Shirley arrested.
Much to Shirley’s relief (and to ours), this is all just to make Linda’s ruse look as convincing as possible. Let’s hope Stuart falls for it.
