EastEnders legend Ritchie Scott has made a popular return to Albert Square.
Phil Mitchell’s hotshot lawyer came back to Walford to help the Carters free Mick.
Shirley pleaded with Sharon to get Ritchie’s number and agreed to pay her staggering £300 an hour fee.
They ditched the young duty solicitor and replaced him with Ritchie, who has "done more bail hearings than he’s had hot dinners".
Things were looking up for the Carters as Ritchie promised she would have Mick back "home by bed".
Ritchie believed they had enough proof that Mick wasn’t in the pub at the time of Stuart’s shooting.
She even convinced the Carters to fake an alibi and get one of their neighbours to claim they saw Mick walking Lady Di around the allotments.
The lawyer said: "If this is all the crown’s got against him he’ll be home tonight."
However, Ritchie’s magic didn’t work and she did not look happy when she returned from the bail hearing.

Revealing bad news, she said: "The judge had evidence we didn’t. They didn’t just find blood on Mick’s shirt they found gunshot residue too.
"As forensic evidence goes this is as strong as it gets."
Linda said impossible and that her husband had been framed – but Ritchie was worried about his chances.
She said: "We need to prepare for trial and wee got a fight on our hands because with the evidence they’ve got, Mick’s going down for a long time."
It was bad news for Mick but EastEnders viewers were delighted to see Ritchie.
One fan said: "I always love when Ritchie shows up….she should have her own spinoff series!
