EastEnders' Kandice Taylor played by Hannah Spearitt to make epic return for Christmas as she turns up uninvited at family feast

The sister of Lorraine Taylor returns to spend the festive season with her family, but it isn't long before trouble comes knocking  – in this case it's Lorraine's ex Mitch Baker (Roger Griffiths).

As the drama unfolds, viewers will quickly learn that Kandice and Mitch's surprise appearances aren't coincidental.

Instead, Mitch has enlisted the help of Kandice to try and win Lorraine back.

He also wants to make amends with son Keegan – but only time will tell if he manages to regain his teenage son's trust.

Speaking ahead of his return, actor Roger admitted change was certainly on the horizon for Mitch who is keen to put his trouble-making days behind him.

He enthused: "It feels great to be returning to Albert Square and working with the wonderful cast and crew again, especially the fantastic Taylor family.

"I'm excited for the viewers to learn more about Mitch and see what trouble he gets himself into this time."

S Club star Hannah first joined the soap in December 2017 for two episodes when the Taylors turned up at her door for help with debt and bailiffs.

She returned for a light-hearted plot in July when the tables were hilariously turned as she told Karen she needed help to get out of climbing Mont Blanc for charity.

She confessed: "If it ended up being something bigger, that's definitely something I'd be interested in.
