EastEnders shocked fans tonight (September 7) as Linda Carter was taken away under the suspicion of attempting to murder Stuart Highway.
Mick was interrogated earlier in the episode, sitting down with a police officer in his own kitchen. However, Linda was quietly earwigging on the other side of the door – a sign of guilt?
With the family walking through the centre of town later on, feeling judged and a little defensive, Mick declared that they had nothing to hide amid the police investigation.
Then, almost in perfect timing, the same police officer who questioned him appeared and called for Linda’s arrest.
Fans were busy reacting to the events unfolding, with more than a few recognising this surprise as a mistake on the police’s part. Will Linda walk free or does she harbour a murderous edge?
Either way, husband Mick was left brooding as the famous soundtrack drew the curtain on Friday’s episode.
