Hayley Slater left EastEnders fans very confused this evening as they struggled to understand her.
Alfie Moon’s baby mum was speaking to Keanu Taylor when viewers noticed that she was sporting a very scratchy voice that some likened to Wheezy the Toy Story penguin.
But some were concerned that something was wrong with actress Katie Jarvis herself.
Flocking to Twitter , viewers tried to figure out what was going on.
One tweeted: "Why does hayley sound like wheezy from toy story tonight?"
While another asked: "What on Earth was wrong with Hayley’s voice tonight on @bbceastenders ? When she was sat talking to keanu it was like she was struggling to breath , words hardly coming out #Eastenders."
