Charlie Brooks has filmed an explosive return to EastEnders that sees Walford get hit by a blaze.
The actress. 40, is reprising her role as evil Janine Butcher on the soap.
And bosses are making sure her comeback will have a big impact with a high-octane stunt.
We can reveal Janine will be involved in a big fire soon after returning.
A show insider said: "Janine’s arrival back in Walford won’t be a quiet one. She is going to be involved in a major fire.
"It is going to be one of those episodes that everyone remembers for years to come."
The dramatic scenes were shot at the show’s set in Elstree, Herts, last month.
Residents living close by noticed large amounts of smoke and noise while the filming was happening.
Producers are keeping details about the storyline top secret.
Our insider added: "Everything is very hush hush. The rumour Janine may be involved in an arson attack."
Bosses have convinced Charlie to return to the BBC soap after seven years away.
The star is known for playing one of the show’s most iconic villains ever so they are hoping her comeback will be ratings dynamite.
In the past Janine has killed people including Barry Evans, played by Shaun Williamson, in 2004.
Charlie has admitted she is thrilled to be back.
She said: "I am beyond excited to be slipping back into Janine’s shoes and returning to the square.
“The time feels right, and I can’t wait to find out what she’s been up to for the last seven years!
"Janine is such a fun character to play. I miss her. The biggest question would be, has she changed her ways?
"My answer would be, 'You’re just going to have to wait and see'.”
The scenes will air later this year.
