EastEnders airs emotional aftermath of Keegan Baker stabbing

On Friday night’s EastEnders (November 2), Keegan Baker was faced with the terrible consequences of his actions.

On Thursday episode, a grief-stricken Keegan had confronted the teenager who defaced the poster of his best friend Shakil.

Despite Shakil losing his life to knife crime, Keegan went armed with a blade to confront the culprit and ended up in a violent scuffle, where he accidentally nicked the teenager.

Keegan ran away from the scene, but it was all witnessed by Shakil’s mother Carmel, who picked up the knife.

In emotional scenes, Carmel then confronted Keegan and told him he had murdered the teenager.

As Keegan went into a panic, Carmel made him face the reality of what he had done and told him to hand himself over to police.

The scenes between Keegan and Carmel drew immense praise from viewers, particularly for Zack Morris’s heartbreaking performance.

But viewers are still left wondering if Keegan did actually commit murder, or if Carmel was just trying to scare him.

EastEnders airs Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays on BBC One.
