EastEnders cooks up another must-see week, with a big proposal on the cards, coupled with a clue about the festive murder.
The opening of Boxing Den arrives, which proves to be the Square’s hottest event of the week, with Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) deciding it’s the perfect opportunity to take a chance on love.
In front of everyone present, the former mechanic gets down on one knee and proposes to Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean)!
Sharon runs out, angry at him for what he’s done, but will some advice from Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) persuade her to take a chance on love too?
It’s worth remembering that the festive flash-forward, which hit screens in February and teased a murder at Christmas time, saw Sharon wearing a wedding dress, but will it be Keanu that she weds?
Sam Mitchell (Kim Medcalf), meanwhile, grows close to Alfie Moon (Shane Richie), with the pair enjoying a drink together in The Vic as they speak about their respective failed love lives. A tipsy Sam and Alfie share a joke about his relationship with Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), unaware that she is listening.
Upset, Linda later confronts Alfie, but what will he have to say for himself?
Elsewhere, Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) is busy making preparations for her charity fundraising event, but is stopped in her tracks when the hospital ask her to come in for an early appointment.
Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) tries to hide his concerns from a panicked Lola, and remains optimistic about the visit. But just what will the doctors have to say?
