Dog the Bounty Hunter fears his Comic Con Scotland appearance won’t happen if it’s not ‘safe’ amid coronavirus crisis – The Sun

DOG the Bounty Hunter has admitted fears that his Comic Con Scotland appearance might not go ahead due to the coronavirus crisis.

The reality star – real name Duane Chapman – isn't sure if it'll be "safe" to hold the UK event in October because of the deadly bug.

Dog shared a promotional poster of his appearance on Instagram and wrote: "My first visit to the UK!!!

"Comicon Scotland *if deemed safe."

The UK has been in lockdown for a month as the coronavirus death toll continues to rise. On Thursday, quarantine was extended by at least three more weeks.

As it stands, experts are unable to predict when lockdown will be over.

It comes after Dog enthused that he can't wait for Comic Con Scotland – where "real men are man and real women are looking good."

In a video from February, the 67-year-old said: "Yo, Dog the Bounty Hunter here. Hello Scotland, we're on our way.

"We're coming down there October 10 and 11. We're going to do a show called Comic Con.

"We expect you to be there. Bring your mother, bring your father, bring your grandma, your grandpa, your children.

"Scotland, yeah my dreams are coming true. Scotland – where real men are men and real women looking good.

"See you then, god bless. I hope the time goes quick."

It comes after Dog alerted fans to "aggressive" fake Instagram accounts posing as him to scam people out of money.

Elsewhere, he has been building bridges with his children, who he fell out with after moving in with now ex-girlfriend Moon Angell months after his wife Beth died of cancer in June 2019.

His daughter Lyssa had slammed him and Moon for dating only months after Beth’s June 2019 death from cancer.

Lyssa fired: “You’re a disgusting woman. Any person who moves in on a man weeks after losing his wife, who you were supposed to be a ‘friend’ to, is the lowest scum on the planet.”

Meanwhile, The Sun exclusively revealed Dog has since moved on with new girlfriend, Francie Frane.

Dog exclusively told The Sun in an interview that while there will “never be another Mrs. Dog,” referring to Beth, he wants the Colorado rancher to be “the last Mrs. Chapman.”

He told The Sun: ”It's going really good. It's a God relationship because it's just like a miracle.

"It's a miracle how we met and it's a miracle how great we're getting along.”

Francie’s late husband, Bob, used to do yard work for Dog.

When the reality star reached out regarding work on his Colorado property, Francie called Dog back to tell him Bob had passed away a few months before Beth.

The two have since become close and have been helping each other through the grieving process.

His daughter Lyssa previously told The Sun she approves of Francie.

She said: ”They are both so happy together and they are good for each other. Francie has been very respectful to all the kids – and to Beth's memory – and my dad is the same way with Bob and their children.

"They go to church three times a week and dad is trying to give up smoking – she is a good woman for my dad.

"He's the happiest I've seen him in a long time – he's so in love and wants to spend the rest of his life with Francie."
