Warning! This article contains spoilers for Deadpool 2. If you haven’t seen it yet, go away and eat a chimichanga.
We knew that the long-awaited Deadpool sequel was going to have its cruel moments – this death in particular hit us hard – but were we expecting to see the X-Force team bumped off?
No, no we weren’t.
Fortunately, death in the movies isn’t much like death in the real world, so there’s every chance some of those characters could return. Especially Terry Crews’ Bedlam.
Speaking to Vital Thrills about his character’s apparent death (key word there, ‘apparent’), the acting legend said: “You know what? Actually if you look at the movie, I was on life support.
“They were trying to revive me, so you didn’t see me get cut up or head cut off. There’s always something,” he said, before adding: “I would love to come back for Deadpool 3.”
And we would love to have you, Terry.

Crews, our second favourite X-Force member after the beloved Peter, also went on to call the death of the team a straight up “troll” – “it was horrible”, he added.
“I felt so bad but it was for a good cause, you know what I mean? It really was the payoff that the movie needed,” Terry said, getting himself back in Ryan Reynolds’ good books just in time.
Deadpool 2 is out now in the US and the UK. Book tickets here.
