Daredevil season 3 poster has a hidden Avengers Easter egg

Daredevil fans have noticed a really, really well hidden Easter egg in the latest poster for season 3 of the Netflix series.

Like seriously, you wouldn’t have spotted it.

If you squint very closely at the picture, which depicts a red skyline with Matt Murdock’s back, you may see a familiar sight in the background.

Yep, that looks very much like the Avengers tower in the middle to us, suggesting that the new season will have a closer connection to the MCU than previous outings.

It may of course just be Marvel adding a bit of fun – its TV series after all only tend to make reference to events from the movies rather than directly link to them.

However, if we do want to get all Sherlock Holmes on this, it could mean that season 3 is set before the events of Spider-Man: Homecoming, where the tower was sold off, especially as the Avengers logo is still visible in this new poster.

It’s been a week of very-hard-to-see Easter eggs in Marvel posters, especially after Captain Marvel‘s latest look.

Alongside the new MCU movie’s exciting first trailer, the poster appeared to show Carol Danvers’ feline alien companion Chewie, albeit just the tail.

This week, it was also confirmed that Daredevil season 3 will drop in its entirety on October 19, so mark your calendars.

Daredevil airs on Netflix. Seasons one and two are available to stream now.
