Danniella Westbrook covers face with a mask outside clinic amid reports she's planning surgery to fix cheekbone which has 'rotted away'

The 45-year-old insisted back in May that she'll undergo facial reconstruction surgery and was seen leaving a clinic in Loughton on Tuesday.

Danniella stepped out of The Angel Clinic with her hand over her mouth and her face obscured from view.

The ex soap star stayed warm in a puffer jacket and showed off her slim legs in tight jeans.

When Danniella removed the mask, she revealed no signs of having had surgery, but has told in the past how her cheekbone has "rotted away."

In June, Danniella told her Twitter followers she was in a lot of pain and her face had become swollen.

Then in July, she was rushed to hospital amid fears her septicaemia has returned, after having battled ed the infection two years ago after botched surgery on her teeth.

Her latest sighting comes after she told her Twitter followers: "Super poorly face has swollen up so so bad and pain unbearable waiting to hear if I need to go back in hospital and praying it’s not septicaemia again … could cry."

In May, Danniella appeared on Good Morning Britain to talk about her health woes and revealed she is facing surgery as she has no bone left in one of her cheeks.

Danniella has osteoporosis and admitted doctors plan to fix her face using a piece of her rib.

Explaining the problem wasn't because of her infamous former drug addiction, she said: "Osteoporosis was led to by bad dental work."

When presenter Susanna Reid asked if there was any link to her past drug use, Danniella replied: "When I was doing excessive amounts of drugs and lost my nose I would have got it then, not after being 13 years clean.

"I wouldn't have just got it in the last three years."

Discussing her botched dental work, she added: "The screws, which they have left in, the bone didn't close around them when I had implants, which led to blood getting into the bone so it just died.

"That gave me the septicaemia which gave me the bone disease and started rotting away and it's all down to that. They were going to have to take some of my skull but they're going to use a floating rib."

Danniella told Mirror Online that she has been left with screws instead of teeth as her left cheekbone is "wasting away".
