Dancing with the Stars has a long list of celebrities who got injured on the show. It looks like Season 27 will be no different because a celebrity already got injured before the first episode! Here is everything to know about Bobby Bones getting injured while training.

Bobby Bones got elbowed in the mouth twice

The country radio personality, Bobby Bones might have a difficult move in his first dance routine because he told People that he got elbowed in the mouth twice while practicing with his partner, Sharna Burgess.

“There was blood and a tooth,” he told People. “I still don’t know what I’m doing. She was doing her spin thing, and she was doing what she was supposed to do, and my face was not doing what it was supposed to do.”

Despite getting hit really hard, it sounds like he is still in good shape for the competition. “You know, things aren’t supposed to bend certain ways,” he continued. “I’m feeling pretty good. The cuts have healed.”

The two said in an interview on The Bobby Bones Show that their first routine will be the jive. Burgess teased that the dance includes kicks and unique steps. She also said the routine “is the only one like it.” So maybe they will have an advantage over their other competitors.

The two also gave a sneak peek of their moves at the iHeartFestival. There was a clip released on social media of Bobby Bones dipping the professional dancer.

So it looks like the competition is already tough during the practice weeks, but the radio host should easily bounce back to start the season.
