DAN Osborne tried to hook up with Natalie Nunn in Los Angeles this summer – but her husband Jacob Payne stopped her from going, a source revealed.
The Only Way Is Essex star, 27, contacted Natalie, 34, back in April – months after their wild threesome with Chloe Ayling, 22, last year – during his visit to California and asked if she would meet up with him, according to a pal of the two reality stars.
However husband Jacob got wind of their plan and put a stop to it – as he didn't trust Dan, according to the friend.
"Dan really wanted to meet up with Natalie – they were going to go to dinner or a club, just the two of them," the source said.
"He was texting and sending her DMs asking her to meet.
"Natalie thought it would be fun to show him around.
"But then Jacob caught Natalie messaging him and told her 'no way' was she going to meet him.
"He didn't trust him one bit – he wouldn't have minded if it was a group meet up but he thought it was weird that a married man wanted his wife to fly down to LA so they could hang out on their own.
"He felt like Dan was trying to hook up with her.
"Natalie didn't think it was worth upsetting Jacob and causing trouble so she just agreed not to go.
"Now after finding out about the threesome Jacob is absolutely fuming.
"Obviously he thinks Dan is a complete a***hole.
"He was already suspicious about him and now he's been proved right."
Dan posted several pictures on social media during his April holiday to LA without his family.
He was also pictured costing up to a female friend during a night out during the same trip.
It comes after Chloe told how she had a steamy group sex session with Dan and Natalie after the end of last year's Celebrity Big Brother following a boozy night out in London.
Chloe said: “Dan cheated on Jacqueline with me and Natalie. We’d all had a lot to drink and a threesome happened.
“He had full sex with Natalie in in front of me in the bathroom, and then kissed and performed a sex act on me.
“It was a debauched night – we were drunk and we let loose."
After the news broke last week, US reality star Natalie was dumped by her furious husband Jacob.
The American football player left Natalie at their home in Northern California to stay with friends.
The pair have been married since 2012 and have a two-year-old daughter, called Journey.
The threesome revelation comes after Jacqueline, who married Dan in 2017, removed her wedding ring and threatened to quit the I’m A Celebrity jungle after co-star Myles Stephenson claimed her husband had bedded former Love Island star Gabby Allen.
ITV bosses axed a reunion between Jacqueline, 27, and Dan in the wake of the cheating allegations, Sun Online revealed.
A source said: "They decided that Dan and Jacqueline’s first proper conversation since the dramas emerged should be off- camera and not in front of millions of viewers.”
Natalie's PR declined to comment. Sun Online has reached out to a representative for Dan.
