13 Reasons Why’s Katherine Langsford will be starring in new fantasy drama Cursed. She is joined by Fear The Walking Dead star Daniel Sharman and Westworld’s Gustaf Skarsgård in the Netflix show. Here’s everything you need to know about watching the new series.
Cursed is a re-imagining of the classic tale of King Arthur and the knights of the round table and, of course, the legendary sword of Excalibur.
But in this story, the focus isn’t on Arthur himself but Nimue (played by Katherine Langsford), a young outcast woman with mysterious powers.
She finds herself in possession of a legendary sword and joins forces with mercenary Arthur (Daniel Sharman) to save her people.
While Arthur’s story may be more widely known, Nimue also had a great part to play in the legend.

Cursed Netflix release date: How many episodes are in Cursed?
Langsford’s character is commonly referred to as Nimue but her other name is Lady of the Lake.
According to legends, she was an enchantress who played an important role in many stories.
Not only did she give Excalibur to Arthur, but she also enchanted Merlin the wizard and took care of Lancelot who would later become a knight after the death of his father.
While her story has been mostly untold up until now, Nimue will get her time in the spotlight through the Netflix series.
What time is Cursed released on Netflix?
If you have been eager to watch Cursed since it was first announced earlier this year, then you will be delighted to know it’s almost here.
Cursed is going to be released on Netflix from tomorrow, Friday, July 17.
There is going to be a total of 10 episodes in the series which are also going to be released tomorrow.
So fans will be able to binge-watch the entirety of the series whenever they choose to.

When Cursed will become available on Netflix though does depend on your geographical location.
While the show is going to be out at the exact same moment across the world, the time will vary because of different time zones.
Netflix’s headquarters is based in San Francisco, California and so time-wise, Cursed will be first released for those living in the PST (Pacific Standard Time) zone.
The first season of Cursed is going to be out just after midnight PST.

For those who live on the east coast, Cursed will be released at 3am EST (Eastern Standard Time).
If you’re living in the UK, then it is going to be ready to watch from 8am GMT (Greenwich Mean Time).
The majority of Europe is around one hour behind the UK so for them, Cursed will be out at around 9am.
Cursed will be released on Friday, July 17, on Netflix.
