Meanwhile, Peanut growls at Cilla the chinchilla, the family's new addtion.
Later in the week, Hope's horrified to find the door to Cilla’s cage open.
As the Hope and Ruby Dobbs (Macy Alabi) search the room, Hope lets out a scream having found Cilla dead on the carpet.
Peanut watches from her basket.
Corrie spoilers previously revealed that Fiz and Tyone are set to expand their family in upcoming scenes and welcome Cilla the chinchilla into the family.
It's been a hectic time for the couple following their shocking discovery that Hope has still been obsessing over her late serial killer father, John Stape.
In a bid to ease tensions, Fiz and Tyrone decide that a trip to the pet shop could do the girls some good and give them a nice distraction.
As a result, Tyrone and the girls return from the pet shop with Cilla the chinchilla named after Fiz's mum.
However, sadly, the new addition leaves Fiz unimpressed.
Fiz and Tyrone watch as Hope bonds with Cilla the chinchilla, optimistic that it could be a new beginning as she's clearly already bonded with her new pet.
However, Fiz and Tyrone return home hoping for an afternoon lie down, but things take a turn when they get back to find the house stinks of chinchilla poo.
Will Cilla's shock death send Hope down a dark path once again?
Elsewhere, In the factory, Fiz confides in Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) that her sex life is in a bit of a rut.
Sally tells Fiz how she and Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) enjoy role play and offers to let Fiz have a rummage in their fancy dress box.
