Corrie fans distracted from Curtis’ tragic secret as they spot continuity gaffe

Coronation Street fans were left confused as Curtis finally confessed his secret to his love interest Emma during Monday's episode.

Emma had been suspicious that Curtis had been hiding something and her fears were confirmed when he finally came clean with the truth.

He revealed that he has been diagnosed with an incurable heart condition which has caused his heart to stop several times.

Emma was left gobsmacked as Curtis said that he has technically died several times, but whilst he could potentially have a long life span, his illness has had a big impact on him growing closer to love interests.

Viewers were devastated by Curtis' bombshell and rushed to social media to share their heartbreak at a new character potentially being given a tragic ending already.

However, some fans were left distracted by the news as they noticed Curtis' beard changing length and appearance in between scenes.

One posted on social media: "Curtis' secret seems to be a beard that grows, disappears and regrows multiple times a day."

Another added: "The continuity on Curtis' face is shocking tonight. He's grown a beard back between scenes."

A third chipped in: "That beard/stubble on Curtis really comes and goes between scenes."

A fourth fan replied: "He has a beard in The Bistro, shaves it off in the flat and grows it back quickly for The Bistro. Doesn't everyone??"
