Coronation Street‘s Ryan Connor makes a sad confession to Bethany Platt next week, as he struggles to cope in the wake of the recent car crash.
Earlier this month, Ryan’s life was left hanging in the balance when he was involved in a horror road accident that resulted in the death of gangster Ronan Truman.
Ali Neeson was actually responsible for Ronan’s death when he forced the villain to pull a metal fence post out of his stomach – knowing that it would end his life.
Despite only doing it to protect his family, Ali has been wracked with guilt ever since – but the story is about to shift focus to Ryan, who has been deeply affected as well.
Next week’s scenes will see a traumatised Ryan tell his friend Bethany that he’s still having distressing nightmares in the wake of the car accident.
New details released on Corrie’s official website reveal that Ryan decides to open up to Bethany about just how much he’s struggling, but will she be able to offer him the support he needs?
