Coronation Street’s Tim Metcalfe will continue to grow close to Gina Seddon in the wake of Sally’s court drama.
Gina (Connie Hyde) has been harbouring a secret soft spot for Tim for the last few weeks – grateful for his support after Dev abruptly dumped her.
Upcoming scenes will see Sally inadvertently throw her husband and sister together whilst trying to set Kevin up with newcomer Paula, but it’s next week’s episodes that we are more concerned about.
That’s because the pair will get even closer in the the wake of Sally’s disastrous pre-trial hearing, as Gina returns the favour when it comes to supporting Tim.
We’ve already revealed that Sally will be representing herself at her hearing next week, having fired her lawyer Paula Martin at the eleventh hour.
Sally makes the hasty decision after finding out about her daughter Sophie’s secret relationship with Paula, which leaves her outraged.
However, when Tim learns that Imran threatened Sally over his two-timing secret earlier in the week, he’s furious and takes matters into his own hands.
Unfortunately for Tim, his actions get him into big trouble with an angry Sally – sparking a brand new row between the pair.
Afterwards, Gina is quick to comfort a devastated Tim – reassuring him he has done nothing wrong and was simply defending his wife. But are Gina’s feelings for Tim intensifying?
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
