Coronation Street‘s Elsa Tilsley could be sticking around on the cobbles next week, as she receives a surprise business offer from Carla Connor.
Elsa (Kelly Harrison) made her first appearance in Weatherfield last Friday, when she was revealed as Nick’s secret wife.
So far, Carla Connor is the only person who knows that Nick (Ben Price) got married during his time away from the Street and she’s been blackmailing him over the secret.
However, everything changes later this week when Nick reluctantly seizes control of the situation, making a guilty confession to Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) about what he’s been hiding from her.
Next week’s aftermath scenes see Nick and Carla (Alison King) continue to clash bitterly after the recent blackmail attempt.
Nick warns Carla that their deal is off and he’ll now be keeping his share of the factory after all, as she has nothing over him anymore.
Sadly for Nick, it seems that he may be speaking too soon when Elsa pops up again and claims that he defrauded her of £40,000 to buy into the factory.
Seizing on this, Carla tells Elsa that as she actually owns Nick’s share of Underworld, they should go into business together.
Meanwhile, Leanne is furious over Nick’s lies and refuses to give him a chance to explain himself.
Leanne does take the time to speak to Elsa, admitting her embarrassment and promising that she had no idea Nick was married.
With Carla, Leanne and Elsa all rightly against him at the moment, is Nick’s nightmare only just beginning?
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday, November 19 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
