Coronation Street‘s Aidan Connor will appear in one final scene tonight (August 10) as Alya Nazir watches a video message recorded before he died.
Shayne Ward’s popular character will be seen on our screens one last time when Alya receives the DVD that looks set to change everything.
The emotional footage was recorded at the time of the transplant in February and shows Aidan speaking movingly about his decision to donate a kidney to Carla.

It’s already been revealed that Aidan’s DVD will have a huge impact on Alya, as she ultimately decides to back down in the fight for Underworld.
After Aidan took his own life in May, his family were shocked to discover that the factory was now rightfully Alya’s due to the terms laid out in his will.
However, when Alya watches Aidan’s DVD, she realises just how much his family meant to him and has a big change of heart over what she’s doing.
This will pave the way for another shake-up at the factory, with Peter Barlow stepping in to help Carla to come up with the cash and regain control.
Coronation Street airs these scenes tonight at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
