Hannah – played by Hannah Ellis-Ryan – will be unmasked as a con-woman after arriving and claiming to be the dead daughter of Jim and Elizabeth McDonald.
Corrie fans saw Jim break the news to Liz that the daughter they thought had died when she was just day old actually survived and was brought up in Australia due to a terrible mix up at the hospital.
While Liz was initially furious with disbelief, she eventually seemed to accept Jim’s story.
He said that Hannah – who they called Katie – had tracked him down through his army records after discovering her parents weren’t actually her biological parents after all.
But while Liz will have an emotional reconciliation with her daughter, Tracy – played by Kate Ford – will smell a rat and decide to do some investigation of her own.
She soon discovers that the newcomer isn’t who she says he is and her fiancé Steve – Hannah’s sister – is convinced enough that he decides to do his own DNA test to find out if the story adds up.
Hannah, however, has her own plan when she and Steve do swabs for the DNA test – but what is she plotting?
Meanwhile Tracy watches events unfold and fires off a warning signal to Hannah basically telling her that if she messes with Steve, she messes with her.
And we all know that Tracy Barlow hasn’t got a problem with taking down anyone who gets in the way of what she wants.
Will the wrath of Tracy be enough to put Jim and Hannah off their twisted scam
against Liz?
