Coronation Street spoilers: Carla Connor takes to roof of Underworld in devastating scenes

Coronation Street favourite Carla Connor (played by Alison King) is struggling to come to terms with the roof collapse of her Underworld factory.

It took the life of Rana Habeeb (Bhavna Limbachia) in devastating scenes and as a result, Carla has been racked with guilt considering she knew the roof needed to be fixed.

Fans know it isn’t her fault with the likely villain about to be revealed soon on the ITV soap.

Nevertheless, it seems Carla Connor will struggle to come to terms with what’s happened and feels she needs to take drastic action.

According to The Sun, Carla considers taking her own life but is thankfully caught before it’s too late.

She believes she sees her late brother Aidan Connor (Shayne Ward), who was involved in a devastating suicide storyline last year, on the Underworld roof.

As she climbs up the unstable building, Carla says Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) “shouldn’t love evil”.

An insider told The Sun: “The scenes are really dramatic.

“When things can’t seem to get any worse for Carla, it appears they do.

“She’s at her lowest and climbs up the stairs after thinking she’s seen Aidan, and appears to be looking for a way out of all her troubles.

“Luckily, Peter spots her and convinces her there’s something to live for, eventually managing to talk her down.”

The source continues to say Carla is taken away by medical professionals and is examined fully to get the help she needs.

Thankfully, the story will end differently to the tragic ending seen with Aidan last year.

It’s currently unknown who will actually be found guilty for the factory roof collapse.

Next week, attention will be turned to Nick Tilsley (Ben Price), who is being set up as a super villain on Coronation Street.

Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) discovers a damning report on the state and condition of the Underworld roof.

He most definitely shouldn’t have something like that under his bed and she clashes with Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) about why it’s there.

Nick says he will take it to the police station and turn the document in, but one thing leads to another and he gets arrested.

But does this piece of vital evidence mean he is actually guilty?

Or is he covering for someone else?

Coronation Street continues tomorrow night on ITV at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
