Coronation Street‘s Peter Barlow might have had a bit of a personality overhaul of late, but fans of the ITV soap are more baffled by his ever-changing hair.
In last night’s (August 29) trip to the cobbles, utter confusion broke out when Peter (Chris Gascoyne) modelled two very different hairstyles in just a matter of minutes.
Maybe he just nipped into Audrey’s, eh?
In one scene, while interviewing a Tina McIntyre lookalike at Underworld, Peter could be seen channelling his inner Bieber and sporting a very floppy fringe. It’s a look, we’ll give him that.
Moments later, when discussing potential candidates with Carla Connor, Pete’s unruly fringe had been slicked back, tidied up and, dare we say it, vastly improved.
Unsurprisingly, it didn’t take long for Corrie fans to wonder what the Underworld co-owner was playing at. “Why does Peter Barlow have a special hair do for work?” one asked.
While another pondered: “Does Peter Barlow only ‘David Brent’ his hair with a forward fringe when he is in meetings?”
It appears so.
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
