Tonight’s Coronation Street (August 6) hinted that Toyah may be about to go behind Peter’s back yet again – and fans are pretty happy about it.
At the end of the episode, it was heavily implied that Toyah is going to accept a low offer for the pub, against the wishes of Peter.
This would be the third time Toyah has betrayed Peter’s trust recently, after passing off baby Susie as her own following the death of their unborn child and tricking Peter into a couple’s counselling meeting.
However, pointing out that Peter is no saint either because of the times he’s cheated, Coronation Street fans were pleased to see Toyah taking control of the situation.
Elsewhere, Abi was angry with Steve for bitching about her so she decided to wind him up by getting Tracy to make their first dance the focal point of the day, knowing Steve would hate it.
She also found out from Eileen that Amy’s concert was cancelled and Steve went to watch the match instead. When she discovered this, and that he gave Tracy Karen’s old engagement ring, she used the info to force him to agree to the dance idea.
Finally, Rana persuaded Imran to accept their dad’s party invitation as Hassan would only blame her if Imran didn’t show up.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
