DESPITE it being just days since Rana Habeeb died in the factory collapse, Coronation Street fans are predicting that Kate Connor will reunite with Sophie Webster.
Viewers were left saddened last week after they watched Rana, played by Bhavna Limbachia, die in Kate's arms after being crushed by the collapse.
The heartbreaking scenes showed the pair preparing for their wedding day before the tragic events lead them to exchange their vows before Rana passed away.
However, despite Kate, played by Faye Brookes, being left clearly distraught by her girlfriend's shock death some fans of the show are already predicting that she will get back together with her ex Sophie Webster after she visited her in last nights episode.
Kate briefly dated Sophie, played by Brooke Vincent, before she got with Rana however split from her to pursue their romance exclusively.
Taking to Twitter to share their thoughts on the pair reuniting, one fan wrote: "Kate and Sophie together by the end of the week… #Corrie."

However, not all the soap viewers were pleased with the idea of the former couple getting back together.
One wrote: "I hope the writers are not going to pair Kate and Sophie together so soon after Rana’s death #Corrie."

Meanwhile, Faye Brookes has revealed that she was left retching after forcing herself to cry and mourn Rana in the days filming the death of her beloved.
She revealed she felt like co-star Bhavna Limbachia was breaking up with her when she told her she had decided to quit the soap, and she kept crying as the end approached.
Faye added: "At one point I was actually retching because I was crying so much."
She added: "The responsibility Bhavna and I have had since day one to do this love story, and to do it with truth and honestly and with a lot of heart, has been one of the hardest things I've ever had to do.
"I am so worried for the Kana fans because I love them. I need them to know that we are just as sad as them to say goodbye to that couple. It felt like Bhavna was actually breaking up with me."
