Sophie and Paula are about to embark on a steamy affair and tonight saw them getting close for the first time.
Paula came into Sophie’s life after Sally employed her as her legal representative.
The pair go back years as they went to school together and after meeting Sophie, Paula is keen to hang around.
Sally has no idea the pair have eyes for each other and is trying to set Paula up with her ex husband Kevin.
But Paula has other ideas and is about to bring some excitement into Sophie’s life.
Viewers were thrilled by the sexy scenes, with one tweeting: “Well #corrie are doing great I’m liking Sophie’s new friend!”
Another said: “Go on Sophie. Milfs are the best!”
While a third cheered: “Woohoo go on Sophie!”
The Sun exclusively revealed back in June how Sophie was about to get a new love interest.
A Street source said: “Sophie hasn’t had much luck with romance on the cobbles but it appears this time it’s finally going in the right direction for her.
“She allows herself to start falling in love with the lawyer but Sally is furious when her friend tells her she has feelings for her daughter.
“She’s livid about the age gap and brands her friend a cradle-snatcher.”
Sophie was dumped earlier this year by Kate Connor, played by Faye Brookes.
In 2011 fans saw her wedding to Sian Powers called off after she was overheard confessing to a drunken kiss with pal Amber Kalirai.
