Coronation Street‘s Gina Seddon was partly responsible for Sally Webster’s undoing in court tonight (November 28) – and fans of the soap are pretty angry about it.
Gina’s currently living in Sally’s house with her sister’s distraught husband Tim, who’s not only suffering while his wife begins her prison sentence but also believes she’s had an affair behind his back.
This is proving to be the perfect time for Gina to worm her way in.
Throughout this evening’s Corrie double-bill, social media was alive with hatred towards actress Connie Hyde’s character, but while this might seem a tad harsh, it does also indirectly heap praise on her performance.
After all, if Connie wasn’t so effective at her job, Gina wouldn’t be such a sneaky villain.
The last episode finished with Gina electing to move out of Sally and Tim’s house to give him some space, but he ran after her in the rain telling her to change her mind.
What happens next between the two… is anyone’s guess.
