Coronation Street has confirmed that Michelle Connor and Ali Neeson will both survive this week’s car crash drama.
Michelle and Ali are among those in the danger zone on Friday (October 12) when ruthless gangster Ronan Truman exacts his revenge over the death of his son Cormac.
As we’ve previously revealed, Michelle, Ali and Ryan will all be involved in a high-stakes car chase when Ronan follows them in the road.
The terrifying sequence of events leads to a crash and the subsequent fallout sees one character die, while the lives of two others are left hanging in the balance.
Corrie has now released a first look at next week’s spoilers, which see Ali being questioned by DS Mackinnon over the car crash drama.
The doctor later turns to his mum Michelle for support, proving that she makes it out unscathed too.

“The police question Ali about being at Cormac’s death and the crash involving Ronan,” Corrie teased on its official website. “Will he be able to handle the questioning?
“Later, Michelle returns home to find Ali with his bags packed. What’s he planning?”
With no mention of Ryan just yet, his fate seems less certain and it’s always possible the show could be springing other surprises on us this week too.
Kym Marsh, who plays Michelle, recently told us that the crash drama will spark months’ worth of storylines on the show.
She teased: “This is like a shockwave that’s going to continue to bounce for quite a long time. It’s not over after these episodes, not by a long shot.”
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
