Coronation Street has confirmed that a character will be killed off in next week’s dramatic car crash storyline.
Tragedy strikes as gangster Ronan Truman takes his revenge in unmissable scenes, wanting the Connor family to pay for the recent death of his son Cormac.
Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) made a terrible mistake last week when his friend Cormac suffered a drug overdose at Michelle’s flat. When Ryan failed to call an ambulance quickly enough, Cormac passed away as the emergency services arrived too late to save him.
Upcoming episodes will see Cormac’s dangerous dad Ronan target Ryan and his loved ones, wanting to even the score. When Michelle realises how serious Ronan is, she tells Ryan and Ali Neeson that they need to ask the police for protection straight away.
The trio get into the car and head down to the station, but are horrified to realise that Ronan is already following them with evil intentions.
When a high-speed car chase follows, a terrible twist of fate sees Michelle’s engine suddenly die. Unbeknown to her, Tracy Barlow has mischievously tampered with her vehicle, wanting to get Abi Franklin in trouble at the garage as she mistakenly believes Abi has slept with Steve.
Thanks to Tracy’s interference, the Connors become sitting ducks as Ronan wreaks his revenge and a terrifying crash takes place.
Ryan bravely gets out of the car to face his enemy, but Ronan is taking no prisoners and drives straight at him with a plan to finish him off for good.
Soon afterwards, more characters find themselves in trouble, an ambulance is called and CPR is performed as the victims of the crash fight for their lives.
A Coronation Street statement confirmed: “The terrifying car chase leaves one person dead, two people fighting for their lives, and a secret that will overshadow the family for years to come.”
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Friday, October 12 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
