Colton Underwood Is The Next Bachelor

The virgin contestant will now be looking for love a third time.

Get those roses ready, because Colton Underwood has been announced as the new Bachelor.

ABC announced Tuesday morning that the former NFL player, who competed on Becca Kufrin’s season of "The Bachelorette" and the current season of "Bachelor in Paradise," will be looking for love a third time on Season 23 of "The Bachelor."

"One thing I took pride in on both seasons was being true to who I am," Colton said on "Good Morning America" Tuesday, where the casting announcement was made. "It took all of that to get to where I’m at now and know who I am as a person and know what I want in a life partner."

Colton came in fourth place on Season 14 of "The Bachelorette," but gained notoriety when he revealed to Becca that he was still a virgin. He then went on to participate in Season 5 of "Bachelor in Paradise," where he rekindled his relationship with Tia Booth, a former Bachelor contestant. The couple finally called it quits on Monday night’s episode of the reality show.

After the episode, Colton posted a picture of him and Tia eating hot dogs and thanked her for everything that their on-again off-again relationship taught him.

"Thank you for teaching me even more about myself, and most importantly, for your friendship that I know will continue far beyond Paradise." he wrote in the caption. "Don’t settle for anything less than the world, because that’s what you deserve. Can’t wait to see what the future has in store for you and catch up on life some day, preferably over a hot dog dinner."
