Coleen Rooney enjoys a shopping trip with her mum after jetting back to Cheshire from new home in Washington DC

The ladies enjoyed a mother-daughter day out while Coleen was back on British soil.

She's only just moved to Washington D.C but Coleen's heart is clearly still in Cheshire.

The mum-of-four wasted no time in hitting the U.K shops – no doubt to top up on those essentials that aren't available state side.

And who better to keep her company than her dear mother Colette.

Coleen and Colette wore matching striped outfits as they enjoyed their bonding day.

Keeping it casual, Coleen opted for a black and white striped from Zara paired with a pair of classic black jeans.

The Wag meant business with her hair scraped into a ponytail and a pair of flat brogues – no doubt to help her on her feet during the shopping excursion.

While her mum wore a long-sleeved white and black striped top with blue jeans.

The ladies looked in high spirits as they chatted while walking along side each other.

Coleen had jetted back for the funeral of a family member.

Hubbie Wayne even flew in for a 12 hour round-stop to lend his support to his wife.

The Rooneys have relocated their brook State-side after Wayne signed a deal to play for DC United.

Only weeks ago, Coleen confirmed that she and the family would join Wayne stateside.

She told her 1.27 million Twitter followers: "Wishing our Daddy and my Wayne all the luck, happiness and success in America!!! It’s a move we are going to do as a family."

The Wag followed up her news with a congratulatory message to Wayne on his career successes.

Coleen added: "Leaving England with so many trophies and also as England and Man Utd’s all time Top goal scorer is a massive achievement!!

"It hasn’t been done for years and you did it!!!"

The move across the pond has been in the pipeline for months.

Wayne was given the green light to leave Everton earlier this year after being told there was no guarantee he would get first-team football next season.
