Coronation Street newcomer Courtney Vance is going to make her move on Aadi Alahan, the latest spoilers have revealed. Young Aadi has been left unnerved after his boss's wife Courtney, sent him a flirty text after he dropped her off at home after his first job.
Now in Friday's episode Courtney, played by Stephanie Davis, steps up her interest in her husband's new employee. When Aadi's boss Darren reveals that he has a meeting, the young business man is hoping that means he can sit in on it.
However, he's left disappointed when Darren asks him to take Courtney shopping instead. On the shopping trip, Aadi confides in Courtney about his hopes for his new job role.
He tells her that took the new job in the hope of getting some business experience and having the chance to share his own ideas. In response, Courtney informs Aadi that she has an MBA.
She then suggests that Aadi shares his ideas with her instead of her husband. The pair then work together to cajole Darren into agreeing to a meeting with Aadi's dad Dev.
Later in the episode, Aadi gets a text from Courtney asking him to meet her at Darren's office. When he arrives at the office, he finds that Courtney is there on her own.
Courtney soon makes it clear that she fancies Aadi as she leans in for a kiss. How will Aadi react to her move?
Steph Davis made her debut on the cobbles on Wednesday, and she has spoken exclusively to OK! about her new role. She has said: "I absolutely love Courtney, there are so many layers to her.
"She’s this big bravado person, but deep down, all she wants is to be loved. You can tell she didn’t have a good upbringing, and she’s never truly been loved."
Adam Hussain, who has played Aadi since 2020, has also opened up about playing a toyboy. Speaking to OK! the 22 year old has said: "At first Aadi was intimidated by Courtney’s advances.
"He thought she was only being friendly and Aadi wouldn’t want to ruin his relationship with Darren. I’m guessing Courtney’s attracted to him because he’s quite young and innocent.
"The idea of an affair makes it quite enticing and fun for Courtney and she sees that Aadi does become quickly infatuated with her and she realises she’s got him wrapped around her finger."
He has also said: "At first, I was a little nervous, but also excited, for the story. It’s an intimate story and I’ve never done anything like it, other than with Kelly, which was more of a sweet, innocent love.
"But this takes things up a notch by being quite raunchy in some scenes, and I was looking forward to trying out stuff I never have before – it has been quite fun."
