Charlotte Crosby and Joshua Ritchie split fears as they unfollow each other on social media hours after she tweets about going their ‘separate ways’

And the pair have unfollowed each other on social media — the modern version of a break up.

Just after midnight she tweeted: “Sometimes going your separate ways is the best thing for you.”

Five hours later she removed it.

In the early hours of this morning they unfollowed each other on Instagram.

Both their representatives have been contacted but declined to comment.

A source said: “Charlotte is filming right now.

“The pair are on and off a lot and they do this sometimes.”

Last month the Sun Online revealed Josh would be replacing the ex-Geordie Shore’s former co-star Scotty T as presenter of Just Tattoo Of Us.

She put him forward for the job.

An insider said: “Charlotte rules the roost at Just Tattoo Of Us and when she suggested working with Josh on the next series, bosses were keen.

“He’s a good looking lad and they’ve got great chemistry so they’ll work well on screen.

“Some of Charlotte’s friends are worried it could end in tears though. When she worked with Stephen on the show it was too much with them working together and being in a relationship.

“But Charlotte is adamant they make the perfect partnership.”

Charlotte, 28, and Joshua, 24, were seen in a heated argument earlier this month but made up soon after.

They confirmed they were dating in February after weeks of rumours.

Last month she unveiled a tattoo of his name on the back of her neck in italics.

She also revealed she was planning for a wedding despite Josh not having proposed.

Charlotte said: "I think I'm gonna start to plan my wedding now…

"I mean, I'm not engaged or haven't been asked but preparation is key."
