The former Emmerdale actress was raised by her mother and grandmother with her dad cutting off contact when she was a child and now Roxanne has revealed how he went on to have another family while ignoring her.
"I'm definitely an only child," she told Hardeep.
"And I've got a small family," she added as Hardeep asked if she had any siblings on her dad's side.
"They probably do but I have entertained that," Roxanne told him.
And when Hardeep pushed for why she hadn't seen her father or searched for him, she said simply: "I thought it would be an insult to my mam and grandma."
Asked if she knew where he was, Roxanne insisted: "I don't care.
"I don't care. I don't know. He, my dad, I believe he's in Tehran. I believe but I've never really asked. I assume."
Hardeep then said that while wasn't there to defend anyone, he could understand why dad's don't "see their kids".
"Oh my mum wanted him too, she really wanted him to" Roxanne replied and then she dropped a bombshell.
She said: "I believe he's a dad now to some other kids."
And despite everything Roxanne had said, Hardeep, who had never met her father, insisted: "I know he loves you. Of course he does."
To which only Roxanne could only say "thank you" before laughing when he called her a "little minx".
