CBB's Ryan Thomas' brother Adam 'in tears' over Roxanne Pallett 'punch row' as her former Emmerdale co-star Kelvin Fletcher brands her 'evil'

Last night, the former Coronation Street actor was given a formal warning by Big Brother after ex Emmerdale star Roxanne claimed he had punched her with intent during a play fight and ended up sleeping in a separate room.

In tonight's show, she confided in Ben Jardine and other housemates, saying he had "assaulted" her,  while Ryan kept his distance.

The footage left Adam – who played Adam Barton in Emmerdale until earlier this year – upset, with him tweeting: "In tears watching this!!"

He wasn't the only former cast member of the Dales to comment on Roxanne's behaviour.

Kelvin Fletcher, who played Andy Sugden for 20 years and played Roxanne's on-screen husband on the show, tweeted: "She. is. evil."

He added in a separate tweet: "She's not 'mentally ill' or in need of 'help'. That denounces that people with actual mental health issues are as vindictive and menacing as her.

"They are not. There is a big difference. That was calculated and manipulative beyond belief. Ryan [love heart emoji]."

Last night, another close pal of Ryan's from Emmerdale, Danny Miller, also hit out at Roxanne, calling her a "compulsive liar".

Celebrities from the world of soap, reality TV and showbiz have all come out in support of Ryan in the last 24 hours and tonight was no different.

Sue Cleaver – who plays Ryan's on-screen mum Eileen Grimshaw in Coronation Street – tweeted: "Utterly horrified at what @ryanjamesthomas is having to go through. I love this beautiful man so much and I know him inside out! Roxanne clearly has some major mental health issues and I hope she can get the help she needs."

Shayne Ward – who played Aidan Connor – wrote on his Twitter page: "My heart is breaking for @ryanjamesthomas I know you mate! I know your heart and it's filled with nothing but honesty and calmness. I AM HERE FOR YOU FELLA! WE ARE ALL HERE FOR YOU! X".

Presenter Jeff Brazier tweeted: "I've seen the incident on #BBUK and I'd like to state that @ryanjamesthomas is one of the most genuine individuals I've had the pleasure to meet.

"He once went well out of his way to help me and I don't think he deserves to feel like he had been aggressive towards a woman."
