BRITs viewers in tears over Lewis Capaldi song after Caroline Flack tribute

Tonight's BRIT Awards kicked off with a tribute to Caroline Flack from host Jack Whitehall, but it was Lewis Capaldi's performance of Someone You Loved that got viewers crying.

In the tribute, Jack said: "Before our next performance, I just wanted to add that over the weekend we learned the awful news that a member of the BRITs family, our friend, Caroline Flack, tragically passed away.

"She was a kind and vibrant person with an infectious sense of fun. She will be sorely missed.

"I'm sure I speak for everyone here when I say our thoughts are with her friends and family."
