Britain's Got Talent magicians got engaged after their magical audition

Britain’s Got Talent’s Mind2Mind have more than one reason to celebrate this weekend – after announcing that they got engaged shortly after their audition.

The mind-reading pair, James Harrington and Marina Liani, managed to blow the minds of Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell in this week’s episode, and are now set to marry after James got down on one knee – and proposed with an adoption certificate of Marina’s beloved dog, Muffin.

Speaking exclusively to Metro.co.uk about the romantic moment, the newly-engaged mystic said: ‘It was just a home engagement but it was really geared towards Marina, and knowing what she would like and what actually made her burst into tears.

‘I’d known that Marina’s baby, her pug Muffin, was the love of her life, and I always refused to say that I loved him because I wanted to wait until I proposed,’ he continued.

‘So right before I actually proposed I got on one knee and gave her a certificate of adoption to adopt Muffin as my own and promised that I would love him.

‘I proposed after that.’

An emotional Marina was more than happy to accept, and told us: ‘I was just crying because I couldn’t find any words.

‘It was the most incredible thing ever it was so simple but at the same time it was everything that I had wished for.’

And the Ukranian performer, who is currently living in Dubai, had already been given the seal of approval by her soon-to-be in-laws before the engagement happened – with a touching symbol welcoming her to the family.

James revealed: ‘My mum has come to visit me a few weeks before nouns and I told her my plans to propose and she insisted she give me my grandma’s ring who died a year and a half ago.

‘She’d been waiting and wanted me to have it but wanted me to decide to propose first. Once I had that I couldn’t wait.’

So now that their little magical family is complete, the pair are now thinking of bringing their beloved Muffin on stage with them in the near future.

‘We’re hoping in later acts that we can bring Muffin in,’ said James. ‘Marina’s been trying to convince me that he would be good in our show!’

Let’s hope the Second Sight pair’s abilities stretches to the animal kingdom too!

Britain’s Got Talent airs Saturdays at 8pm on ITV.
