Brenda Edwards reveals heartbreaking moment she held son Jamal's hand as he died after heart attack

BRENDA Edwards has revealed the heartbreaking moment she held her son Jamal's hand as he passed away after a heart attack.

The singer and TV presenter has said her son Jamal "passed with me holding his hand", as she spoke in her first interview since his death.

Brenda, 52, made her first appearance on ITV's Loose Women today after SBTV founder Jamal died in Februay at the age of 31.

"We were all at home. It was sudden and unexpected and he went into a cardiac arrest and then he passed with me holding his hand," she told Loose Women co-star Coleen Nolan.

"I get a little bit of comfort knowing I was with him."

She added: "As much as that is comfort, at the same time, it's a vision that I am never going to forget."
